देश के करोड़ों बुजुर्ग कर्मचारी, जो अब EPS-95 योजना के तहत न्यूनतम पेंशन पर निर्भर हैं, आज खुद को अनदेखा और उपेक्षित महसूस कर रहे हैं। वर्षों तक राष्ट्र की सेवा करने के बाद भी जब उन्हें ₹2000 या उससे भी कम की पेंशन मिलती है, तो यह केवल आर्थिक अन्याय नहीं, बल्कि संविधान के समानता के अधिकार का भी खुला उल्लंघन है।
आज उन्हीं पेंशनर्स की ओर से प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी को एक भावनात्मक अपील की गई है — जिसमें सिर्फ आर्थिक राहत नहीं, बल्कि नैसर्गिक न्याय और संवैधानिक समानता की मांग की गई है।
प्रधानमंत्री जी को संबोधित खुला पत्र: “क्या हम नागरिक नहीं हैं?”
राजेन्द्र सिंह विष्ट द्वारा लिखे गए इस पत्र में कहा गया है कि:
“माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी, जब आप अपने विधायकों, सांसदों और मंत्रियों के वेतन-भत्तों में हर वर्ष वृद्धि कर सकते हैं, तो क्या उन बुजुर्गों के लिए भी इतना नहीं कर सकते जिन्होंने अपना पूरा जीवन इस देश की सेवा में लगा दिया?”
यह सवाल सिर्फ एक व्यक्ति का नहीं, बल्कि उन 50 लाख से अधिक EPS-95 पेंशनर्स का है जो आज भी ₹1000-₹2000 की पेंशन पर अपनी जिंदगी की सांझ बिता रहे हैं।
पेंशन में भेदभाव क्यों?
इस पत्र में यह भी कहा गया है कि जब एक सांसद केवल 5 साल सेवा करके लाखों रुपये की पेंशन और सुविधाएं प्राप्त कर सकता है, तो 30-35 साल सेवा करने वाले कर्मचारी को इतनी कम पेंशन क्यों? क्या यह “एक देश, एक कानून” के सिद्धांत का उल्लंघन नहीं है?
यह बात सिर्फ वित्तीय असमानता की नहीं है, बल्कि आत्म-सम्मान और जीने के अधिकार की है।
EPS-95 पेंशनर्स की प्रमुख मांगें:
- EPS-95 पेंशनर्स की न्यूनतम पेंशन ₹7,500 प्रति माह की जाए।
- सभी विधायकों, सांसदों की पेंशन और विशेष सुविधाएं समाप्त की जाएं।
- “One Nation, One Pension” के सिद्धांत पर आधारित एक समान पेंशन प्रणाली लागू की जाए।
क्या सरकार सुन रही है?
पिछले कई वर्षों से EPS पेंशनर्स इस मांग को लेकर सड़कों पर आंदोलन, प्रधानमंत्री और श्रम मंत्रालय को पत्र, और जन प्रतिनिधियों से गुहार लगा चुके हैं। लेकिन हर बार सिर्फ वादे मिले — समाधान नहीं।
अब यह सिर्फ वित्तीय समस्या नहीं, बल्कि नैतिक और संवैधानिक संकट बन चुकी है।
निष्कर्ष: एक ऐतिहासिक निर्णय की प्रतीक्षा
राजेन्द्र सिंह विष्ट और देश के लाखों EPS-95 पेंशनर्स आज भी उम्मीद लगाए बैठे हैं कि प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी संविधान की उस शपथ को याद करें जो उन्होंने देश के नागरिकों के अधिकारों की रक्षा के लिए ली थी।
क्या अब भी समय नहीं आया कि सरकार “एक देश, एक पेंशन” के सिद्धांत को साकार करे और इन बुजुर्गों को सम्मान के साथ जीने का अधिकार दे?

Please think sympathetically the said genuine demand of the senior citizen of the country who have worked for the nation in the critical period of our India. Please do not differentiate atleast between the citizens.

Emply. ko aur V bahut kuch facility milta hai, but pvt.sect. ke agar koi employee ka duty ke bich derg “V” ho jaye to kuch nai milta hai , Uss parivar ko dekhne wala koi nai hota hai, parivar bas Baghwan Varosa hi jab tak sakta hai chalta hai. aur agar koi Govt. Employee ke saat aisa ho to sab kuch apne aap mil jata hai. Sari Gindagi nokri karne ke baad bare muskil se 750/- se 1200/- ke bich pension milta hai, kay ye kafi hai, aap apne sansad “O” ko Puchna kya kisi ke ghar me koi NOKAR “V” itne salari mai hai, kay aap hame aise hi retirement ke baad Marne ke liye chor dena cahte ho. Hamare liye koi Govt. Kuch nai kia avi tak, Aap hi kuch karo, Hum aap ke saat hai.
Why not highlighted our honourable Prime Minister how old eps 95 retired pensioners are living and daily 200-300 aged pensioners are dying due to shortage of foods and medicine.Government providing Ration with free rice and Atta also essential commodities more than 90 crore Indians Citizens We the eps pensioners are not Indian Citizen Our PM speech not comply with in real ground.Ration for not welfare to citizen it it is aim to gain power through Vote.With Regards.

Meagre 1000 to 2000 per month as EPS-95 pension is sheer mockery of humanitarian values. What trouble my fellow pensioners face, is beyond description. Myself a heart patient, have to buy medicines for Rs. 2K and the rest survival is at the mercy of God. Is someone there to listen to our woes.

Appears Government is Insensitive to Old EPS 95 Pensioners and don’t feel the pinch to how they are managing their day to day expenses. Meagre amount of less than Rs.800/- can provide to Poor Pensioners. For everything they have to depend on their family which is quite Humiliating. They get their Salaries increase by more than 25-30% or more in a Single Stroke then there is No Fund Deficit. We are not beggars,we have given our precious time for the sake of our motherland.Today everyone wants to become politicians to secure their upcoming nearly seven generations.Our prime minister is a very good orator,as well as well versed in giving lollipop.Its our right to live with pride and dignity.Therefore ur pension must be increased.
I, think Mr. Rawat is not working for Pensioners he is mixed with Govt. and always say that Govt. will pay attention very shortly.I doubt with this fact.

I hate from bottom of my heart to Narendra Modi and Nirmala Sitaraman, these two are like snakes sitting on our pension. They are not well wishers for our future, they’re doing for their salaries and pensions. We go into hell, this is their wish. I also wish them that they should go to hell
Present Government should not only think but take good decision in favors of private company retired employees.
Government employees get at least 50 percent of their last salary, MP and MLS get lacks of rupees salary and pensions even though they are not employees. They get pensions after completing five years.
We as a private employees retired employees requested to start at least Rs. 7500 per month with immediate effect. In addition to this we should get twice DA revision in a year.
Request to Bharat sakar should complete as soon as possible all the demand of 1995 pensioners. Today It’s need of retirement people.
